HbA1c testing is considered the gold standard for diabetes management, as it provides a reflection of average glucose levels over 2-3 months. Unlike daily glucose tests, it shows overall trends making it supreme for monitoring whether a treatment is effective and diagnosing diabetes.

We have launched the Diabetes testing HbA1c service to empower our patients to manage diabetes effectively and make informed lifestyle decisions for better health outcomes. We are committed to making Diabetes testing accessible, affordable and stress free, hence we have kept the cost of this service at only £20.00.

Our Diabetes service is convenient and efficient. Conducted in store by our trained professionals, the test is quick and minimally invasive. With a small finger prick sample, we can have your results within 10 minutes. You can either walk in anytime between Monday-Thursday or make an appointment below.

Our team is here to support you through the process. Once the test is complete, we will discuss your results and provide you with advice on how to manage or prevent diabetes. If the results indicate a greater concern, then we can refer you to another healthcare provider for further medical attention.

What is Hba1C test?

HbA1c is a blood test that measures the average blood sugar levels over the past 2-3 months. A high level HbA1c would suggest poor blood sugar control and therefore increased risk of complications. When newly diagnosed, you will have to have these checks every 3 months, and every 6 months thereafter, once you are stable.
